Hi, I am billing H53.032 with H50.43 then on a separate patient billing H53.031 with H50.51. I am finding both of these cases are identify mutually exclusive codes; two conditions that cannot be reported together. Can anyone provide any insight as to why? i have researched their definitions and they seem fine. Thanks.
