According to Palmetto,the general ophthalmological services vs E/M reads a comprehensive exam (92004 or 92014) should always include fundus exam (92250 OPTOS) with pupils dilated. Our physicians are currently giving the patient the option of either. Is this the correct interpretation? Thanks for sharing.
