My provider uses Optilume for treatment of BPH and Urethral stricture. He is wanting to use code 52450 for the incision of the prostate that is done before using the Optilume. Since that is not allowed can anyone help me out on what they should use. I know there is a new code 52284 but it looks like that would only be for urethral stricture.
