I have read and understood that if a doctor does a UA, Strep test or Covid Rapid in office he/she can’t get credit for ordering the test or reviewing the test but I am not clear as to what happens if they send out the culture to the lab. Can they get credit for sending the culture out (ordering of each unique test) or is that still considered as part of the in house test? I would really appreciate your feedback.

Yes, the send out culture will be credited to , " ordering of each unique test". It holds it's own Cpt code if you think about it.
