Wiki Ordering/Referring Provider for Radiology Claims

We have always included an ordering/referring provider on our radiology claims.
Recently it was brought to our attention by another billing company - that Medicare does not require an ordering/referring provider on Radiology claims.

Can anyone clarify this info?
