Would anyone know if we can code cpt 24220 -Injection procedure for elbow arthrography with cpt code- 24538 pinning of supracondylar fracture. These two do not bundle but are being performed in the same area. I am not sure if insurance would look at 24220 as being inclusive. I have never run across arthrography with my procedures. I know we do not code fluoro with major procedures that I code for so I am kind of thinking about this as I would fluoro. Any help is appreciated.
