I am fairly new to the coding world and I was wondering if anyone could be so kind to help me by answering my questions in regards to orthotics. This is in regards to a hospital based PT/OT department.
Would it be appropriate to code CPT 97760 when the pt comes into be casted and then when the pt comes back to pick up their orthotic would it then be appropriate at that time to code L3030?
My second question is when a pt comes in to have their orthotic repaired is it appropriate to code L4205 by itself or should I be coding it with something else etc?
