Hello,
Our Dr. performed an osteochondral drilling of the knee; "I performed osteochondral drilling with the use of a small punch with multiple holes of approx 4-5mm to allow for vascular channels and fibrocartilage growth" He has grouped this with chondroplasty, but normally when he does a chondroplasty he is only debriding the cartilage. Would the punching of holes still be considered a chondroplasty? Thanks
