Providers in my office have been using R68.82, other general signs and symptoms, as a catch-all code, and a few use it alone. At the meeting next week, I would like to advise them about the denials we are seeing from Anthem/United about this code choice. Should they be using additional codes to more accurately describe the problem? How could I present this to them? Thanks for any help ...
