Hello! I often find that my surgeons do not measure right. If they feel inclined to give me a measurement in the operative report, 9/10 procedures....its smaller than what the path report shows.

Can you report the largest documented size????

Would love some input!!

Is it possible they are measuring the size of the abnormality and not the excised diameter? In that case the provider size will be smaller than the path size. However as far as what size to use for the providers claim you must go with whtis documented in the procedure note.
