The physician is seeing a patient out of teh 90 day post op. Patient had a fistulectomy with placement of seton. The MD brings the patient in once a month to make sure the seton is still in place (he does not tighten/adjust) and the fistula is healing. Chief complaint is healing fistula. Should I use the
V58.72 aftercare code with 565.1, fitsula dx? The history, exam, and MDM audit out as 99212.
