What are the requirements and or logistics of having an outpatient cardiopulmonary rehab within a practice?
Physical Therapist, Respiratory Therapist and RN
Would have cardiac monitoring, pulse ox, etc. They would have cardiac clearance prior to enrolling in the 12 week, 3x a week program.
Would a physician have to be in the office the entire time during cardipulmonary rehab or could it be a PA or NP trained in critical care?
With Physical Therapist doing incident to billing under my NPI for PT Services - Doctor would only need to be present for initial consultation?
Logistics of co-managing patient with a chiropractor under Physician NPI - Do same rules apply as with PT? How does BCBS and Humana handle this?
