Hi~
I have a physician who is traveling to another facility and using an exam room in the ER to perform E&M services. Consults and established. Carriers do not want to pay us because of the place of service being ER. Would it be appropriate to bill these services with place of service OP instead? I would appreciated any input regarding this topic!
