Hello,
Our office has NP's that perform an OV with an injection of J2426 (234mg), Invenga Sustenna. The pharmacy charges the drug when insurance covers it. When the insurance does not cover it, we have samples in the office we can inject for the patient. My question is, if we supply the sample, can our office charge .01 for the drug? Charge a 99214, 96372, and J2426 (.01)?
Or because it is a sample, are we not allowed to charge the J-code at all?
