When coding in the office for a Pacer or def device monitoring do these codes need a 26 mod? thanks for the help
 
I use mod 26 on all in person checks my providers do in the office because a rep comes in and performs them, then my providers review the information and interpret it.
 
I also use the 26 modifier because a rep performs the service. Our providers only review and interp. If you have an employee perform them then you can bill w/out a modifier.
