I am hoping someone can help with this. The company that reads our Pacemakers are no longer rembursing us for code V45.01 or V45.02 (AICO), they state that I need to bill with the correct updated code. I am confused on this, I am getting a lot of denials and have no clue what a different upcode would be.
 
Our Medicare carrier doesn't want the in situ codes as primary. They want the dx that required the device implant first, then the V codes as secondary
