How would you code application of lidocaine by Q-tip and drip (not inject) into each nostril for sphenopalatine ganglion block. CPT 64505 would not be appropriate would it? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

This is more of a guess than an opinion, but it may put you on the proper path. Since this is not a surgical procedure, my guess is that this will be coded as an E/M office visit (was it in the office?). I may be out in left field here...
