I am needing some help with coding for a Third Occipital Nerve Injection. My doctor stated in his note that he did a Greater and Third Occipital Nerve Injection and I don't know which code to code for the Third Occipital Nerve Injection. I know 64405 is for the greater Occipital Nerve. It originally was billed out with 64405 with 2 units and it was denied due to "doesn't support this many"I have been trying to look on line but having no luck. Any help out there for me.
