Doctor Documented: Delusional, Paranoid. I was informed to use 297.1 for the Paranoid Dx, however 297.1 is for Delusional Disorder. I do not have documentation stating Delusional Disorder. When I look up Delusions in the Index it has Paranoid in parenthesis. Would I use 297.9 that includes both the Delusions and Paraniod Dx? Thank you for any help on this!
