Hello-
i have a procedure where the physician does an injection "outside of the paraspinal process"
Procedures
Paracervical block: After chlorhexidine preparation approximately 3 mL of 0.5% bupivacaine with epinephrine was injected approximately 2 cm to either side the C7 spinous process.
I have been advised to use 62320 which i don't agree with b/c that is in between the vertebrae and the procedure is outside of the spine. I have concluded this is either 20552, since this area would be in the muscle although not stated, unlisted or nothing. The provider did state "this is not a nerve block, per se". So we know it's not a nerve block.
