We have a provider and he wants to use 99221-99223 and 99231-99233 when seeing patient in an IOP or PHP, are these codes acceptable?

Hi,

I have never used those codes for an initial eval and assessment for IOP and PHP billing at a substance abuse facility. I use 90791 and 90792 with rev code 900 with success.
