If a physician only removes a portion of a polyp with snare technique would it be safe to still bill 45385 or 45385-52?

I wouldn't use a 52 modifier - the services aren't reduced. 45385 is for removal of tumor(s), polyp(s), or other lesion(s) by snare technique, so as long as it falls under that category, you should be safe.

I agree with Brandi, I wouldn't add the 52, as long as even part of the polyp was removed with a snare, then you can bill it. :0)
