Wiki Partial VS total Ureterectomy with Laparoscopic Nephrectomy

Hello, I am reviewing a code, but I am unsure if the ureter removed is considered partial or total during a nephrectomy. Please see provider documentation:




I am looking at codes 50546 or 50548. Please someone help clarify. Thank you

I see CPT 50546 + S2900, looks like they just cut the ureter to place a stent. Which is inclusive.
