How long should a facility/coder keep past years code books? (I still have mine going back to 2006).

I'd hang onto them for a couple of years, just in case you have any claims come back that you need to review.

We have kept 3 years as RAC audits can go back three years.

I was under the understanding it was 7 years but I could be wrong.
