We are doing a precert for Patella Tendon Debridement via arthroscopy. What CPT would cover this?

Thanks,

Kim, CPC

A tendon is a band of tissue that connects muscle to bone.
Cartilage is soft, gel-like padding between bones that protects joints and facilitates movement.

29877 - Arthroscopy, knee, surgical; debridement/shaving of articular cartilage (chondroplasty)

I do not see anything other than the basic code here:
29870 - Arthroscopy, knee, diagnostic, with or without synovial biopsy (separate procedure)

I know this is an old thread but does anyone else have another suggestion?
