Wiki Patient left AMA....

If we were brought in by the ER physician to consult a patient, we read the previous Cath, and did a small amount of coordination of care?.. when we got to the room to see him he had left AMA. We did not physically examine the patient?. Can we bill anything for that??

If the patient left before seen the provider, i hope we are not able to bill any thing for the provider fee. However if S/he got any injection medication in the ER, we can bill the injection.

In other words I'm seeing... You can only bill what has been done, rather than what has been planned to be done.
