Need a little more information to help. Why is the pt on O2? Is it long term...? You may be able to use V46.2 (Long-term oxygen therapy) but it depends on the other info.

Patient had aspiration pneumonia and now on oxygen. That is all the information I got from the chart.

Its not look like to use any code for long term oxygen dependence or anything, its just the treatment provided for the current condition....you can use the procdure code for oxygen therapy if your facility need that...

Patient was in outpatient. I believe she just wears the oxygen mask - patient is very mobile.
