We are just wondering how other offices handle patient credits that are under $10.00? Do you send out refund checks to the patients?

Yes, our threshold is $5. Those we hold on account and will issue from petty cash if the patient wants to pick up in person. Otherwise the account is flagged and the patient is told the next time they are in the office.
