Please help! How do you bill for a Nurse Practioner who is employeed by the Physician.

Does she have her own NPI? You would also need to check with your carriers to see if they want you to bill with her own NPI or incident to the physician.

I will speak with the physician and ask if she has her own NPI and then I should ck with the different carriers. Do you know if the reimbursement is less for NP.
