Does anyone have a current list or know where I can locate an updated list as to which commerical insurances are still accepting consult codes my list is from 2010 unable to find any update info,

I do not have a list but from my office these are this payorsl:
Medicare
Medicaid
Any senior plan (Medicare replacement plan) eg, secure horizons, senior Kaiser, senior humana, ect

Thats all I know that do not accept consults.

I hope that helps.
 
In Michigan, we cannot bill consults to Medicare, BCBS, Tricare and Work comp. You'll probably need to check with the carriers in your state to get your list.
