If my MD performs a routine PE, and then has a long discussion with parent regarding patients history of asthma-creates an asthma plan, reviews meds and plan of care-ICD-9 we would code PE plus 99214 modifier 25 dx asthma.
Will this be coded the same way in ICD-10?
PE for infant finding an ear infection- dx PE with abnormal findings only?
