I need some advice. We had a new patient come in for a consult regarding the child's peanut allergy. He was also seen for a rash. Which code would be appropriate for this visit T78.01XA or Z91.010. I would appreciate any advice.

Unless the documentation specifically states the rash is related to the peanut allergy you cant use T78.01XA. Otherwise you would just code the Z code and a rash code.
