I just took over coding for a pediatric office in NJ and need help with modifiers:
1) Do vaccines need modifiers when billed with a well check?
2) Is a modifier needed if a sick visit is billed with strep tests?

Hello,

You do not need any modifiers if you are ONLY billing Vaccines, however, if you are billing Office visit, a modifier 25 will have to attached to CPT 99212-99215, etc. Hope this helps.
