I work in a Pedi office and some providers are prescribing birth control at well visits. These patients have no issues (dysmenorrhea or menorrhagia) they are just requesting to start the medication. I am receiving internal errors from our system prior to sending the claims out that we cannot bill a 99394 Z00.129 with Z30.011 or Z30.09 on the claim. We also cannot bill for a 99213/99214 with the OCP Z code. Is anyone else running into this? If so what codes are you using? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
