Coding for Hospital D/C for newborns.

Example: If baby is D/C by Dr. A 9/9/14 and mom is not D/C until 09/10/14baby is seen again by Dr. B and D/C on 09/10/14 witch doctor gets to bill for discharge. :rolleyes:
 
Coding Help

Please if anyone can help me with baby hospital coding it would be great.

If a baby is discharge on Monday by Dr. A, but does't go home until Wednesday because mom had a c-section, and baby is subsequently seen by Dr. B and is discharge again on Wednesday. What doctor gets to bill for discharge. :confused:
