I recently finished school and was hired at a peds office. I have a question about e/m billing. if a child comes in for a well child check-up and there is another issue that needs attention, is there ANY carrier that will reimburse for an office visit and a well check on the same dos? Any thoughts/advice for this occurance would be most appreciated!!
 
You will attach the 25 modifier to the office visit along with the DX code. You may have to appeal the visit and send the office notes. Some insurance companies will pay on the appeal.
