If our PICU physician is supervising the transport (99485) and then taking care of that patient when they arrive can we also bill the critical care codes (99468-99472)? The transport code states do not report any other services performed by the control physician for the same time period and since the critical care codes are each day codes it seems that you would not be able to bill both. Anyone bill these codes together? Also, same for billing the 99288 with 99291? Thanks for the input!
