Looking for help in coding this scenario: Anesthesiologist will only perform the sedation with an H&P that is no older than 48 hours - Since these are going to be done on Monday mornings, our hospitalist provider is going to see the child and approve or disapprove the most recent H&P (done at the practice) along with taking vitals and examining the child. I am looking for coding guidance for our hospitalist provider. I am thinking it should be an E&M (new or established) in POS 22. Thanks
