Physician does a pericardiocentesis w/ drain. When I look at a little cheat sheet that someone wrote up, it says to use the 33010 and the 76000 but when I look at the CPT book, it states to use the 76930. Any idea which one I should be using? Or both maybe?
 
CPT tells you to use 76930. I would ask the person who gave you the cheat sheet why they were using the other code and then I wouldn't use a cheat sheet:)
