Hello, I am having trouble getting paid for a procedure, CPT 33016 ( Pericardiocentesis) its getting denied for inconsistent modifier use. I tried using modifier 59 since a TEE was performed to access the site for aspiration. But it is still getting denied. Modifier 26 is inappropriate, Any help with this is appreciated.
