although i am not getting a 'do not code together' error, or in CPT, but can 93662 be billed with 33016? OR is it assumed that ICE is necessary to perform?

33016 - Pericardiocentesis - includes imaging guidance if performed. That should answer the question.

thanks Jim. They definitely used fluoroscopy but they also used ICE as the effusion was large and difficult
