I understand that when one doctor does both the peripheral angiography and peripheral intervention we would not bill the cath placement. What I have is one doctor doing the renal angiography and the iliac angiography and then a different doctor doing the peripheral intervention. My questions is would the first physician that performed the angiography be able to bill for the 36200 cath placement or since it does proceed to be an intervention would we not bill for the cath placement at all.:confused:
