what cpt code would be used for a laparoscopic periportal lymph node biopsy? The patient had laparoscopic nephroureterectomy for transitional cell carcinoma but that was done by a different physician, therefore an add on code will not be applicable. The only code that I can find is the unlisted - Lymphatic system 38589. Any suggestions?:rolleyes:
