I have read the past post regarding payment for procedure code 17272. However, nothing I have tried has worked. Medicare is denying this code because it states the code 17272 payment is included in another service on the same date and because procedure code 12052 was paid on a different date last week. The code 17272 was billed with procedure codes 96405 (59) and 99212 (25), which were paid. Additionally, code 12052 was performed on a previous day a week before. I am perplexed. Can anyone offer some assistance? Thank you
