Hi,
I've noticed that in the GEMS "persistent atrial fibrillation" (I48.1) maps to "atrial flutter" (427.32) in ICD-9. I generally use 427.31 to describe a fib in general in ICD-9. Does this mapping make sense? Is persistent a fib the same as atrial flutter?
