Patient presents to Infusion center for fluid removal from abdominal cavity. RN attaches a catheter drain kit to the tube and procedes to drain the ascities fluid. Is there an approprite CPT code for this or is this an OV only? the procedure is not suctioning or aspirating, it is simply attaching a kit and the fluid begins to drain.
