Our nurses usually see the patients coming in to have there pessary romoved, cleaned, and reinserted. Tufts is stating that only a RN should be doing this in order to charge a co-pay. Anyone have more information to share about this matter?

Thanks

If your doctor is in the office and see there is incident-to and you may charge so this would be consider visit and you can charge a co pay because you are billing under your doctor. If your doctor is not in the office you can not bill or charge co-pays. Hope this helps
