Patient was seen and fitted for a pessary, pessary was ordered. She did not make another appointment for the insertion as she would like to just pick the pessary up and insert it herself. I typically bill the pessary fitting with an EM then bill the 57160 and A4561/A4562 when the patient comes back for the actual insertion of the pessary. I'm not sure if I should bill for the pessary along the EM for the fitting or if there is another way to bill this. Thank you!
 
You would bill for the E/M and pessary fitting the day the fitting was performed and then bill for the supply the day she picks up the pessary.
