I got a situation where one my drs read a pulmonary function test on 01/19/15 in the hospital than he read another pulmonary function test on the same patient on the 01/22/15 while patient is still inpatient. I know I have to use the modifier 26 for the reading and interpretion but do I need to add another modifier to the 01/22/15 claim. Patient has medicare as his ins. If anybody can please help that would be great.
