Can a physician bill for pharmalogical cardioversion performed during a left heart cath? I do professional coding for a cardiologist and his patient kept going into SVT during a cath procedure, so the physician converted him back to normal rhythm after pharmalogical cardioversion using IV Adenosine about 4 or 5 times. If it is appropriate, what is the correct code?
